This original started out playing with inks and impasto textures and transformed into florals with a touch collage leaves. As one of the first paintings in the series to be completed, this was the start of playing with a touch of mixed media and playing with slightly different color combos. Thanks to a wise Mom, I have always tried used a touch of yellow here and there, but found myself grabbing a bit more of it with this painting……and falling in love with it’s warm light. Thus began my love affair with yellow. Don’t worry, there’s still a place for blue and teal, but yellow is now a dear friend too.

“The More The Merrier” Is an 8x8 mini acrylic painting with collage papers. The extra deep 1 1/2” sides are painted to match the front.
